About Our Courses

We provide dynamic education in permaculture, sustainability, and regenerative practices, with a focus on developing resilient systems. Our programs teach practical skills such as organic gardening, ecological landscaping, orchard care, composting, basic construction skills, rainwater harvesting, plant propagation, and much more.

UPCOMING CLASSES

  • COMMUNITY EDUCATION

    We teach community classes each semester at Hudson Valley Community College. In Spring 2025 we will return with Composting & Vermicomposting at Home, Sustainable Landscaping Using Ecological Design, and Power Tools 101. These are 2 hour introductory programs.

  • INTRO TO PERMACULTURE & ECOLOGICAL DESIGN

    This four-part course is for those interested in designing ecologically sustainable land-based systems. This course covers the basics of permaculture and ecological design.

  • Permaculture Design Course

    This course includes the internationally recognized 72-hour curriculum, supplemented by an additional 12-hours of hands on practice and field trips.
